About Chris

Portrait of Chris Kinchlea

Philanthropy and advocacy has been a part of Chris Kinchlea’s life since she was a young child. Whether she was speaking to local churches about poverty at a young age, or educating herself on issues of humanitarian rights, or volunteering for local animal shelters, Chris has made it her life’s work to help to give a voice to the voiceless.

When her young son became sick with a rare life threatening autoinflammatory condition, understanding these diseases and advocating for her son and others like him became her heart’s cry, helping found the Canadian Autoinflammatory Network – Réseau Auto-inflammatoire Canadien.

Chris has an education in Creative Writing, Business Management and Marketing, Non-Profit Fundraising and Narrative Medicine.
